The primary shareholder of Makari Gad Hydropower (Pvt) Ltd. is LTL Energy (Pvt) Ltd. This is a Sri Lankan based private limited company incorporated by LTL Holdings (55%) and LVL Energy Fund (45%). Our commitment to sustainable energy and responsible development drives our future actions.

LTL Energy (Pvt) Ltd., a major shareholder of the Makari Gad Hydropower (Pvt) Ltd. is based in Sri Lanka, while our project is located in Nepal.

Nestled in the heart of Makarigad village, Apihimal Rural Municipality Ward No. 5, Darchula district, Sudurpaschim Province, Nepal, this high head run-of-the-river project harnesses the potential of the Makari Gad stream. Rooted 960 km northwest of Kathmandu and easily accessible by road, our plant stands as a beacon of progress in harmony with nature.

Makari Gad, a vital tributary of Chameliya River in the Mahakali River basin, holds the key to our energy generation.
